The largest building in Berlin is the Television Tower; this is a broadcasting tower that stands 365 meters high. The tower is in the centre of Berlin and marks the capital. It was built between 1965 and 1969 and has a seven-storey globe 250 metres high where visitors can enjoy the view over Berlin or enjoy a meal in the rotating restaurant. One of the most popular tourist attractions in Berlin is the Brandenburg Gate, as well as being a popular tourist attraction it is also Berlins most famous landmarks, which is over 200 years old. The Brandenburg gate is the only remaining city gate in Berlin, it is also the first significant example of Berlin classicism. The victory tower at Grosser Stern is another one of the most well-known landmarks in Berlin.
